I’m Mahfuzul Haque—a Melbourne-based engineering leader, systems thinker and builder. For more than two decades, I’ve worked across software engineering, applied machine learning, architecture, product delivery and organisational leadership.
My work sits where product and platform engineering, organisational design and practical AI meet. I enjoy turning ambiguity into clear operating systems—and promising ideas into useful products.

MY JOURNEY
From building software to building the systems around it
Technology matters. The conditions around the technology matter even more.
I began close to the code—as an engineer and researcher fascinated by how complex systems work. That foundation taught me rigour, curiosity and the value of solving the right problem before optimising the solution.
As my responsibilities grew across health, financial services and enterprise platforms, my focus widened: architecture, reliability, operating models, delivery flow, customer value and the environment in which people do their best work.
Today, I’m exploring what practical AI and agentic systems make possible—not as tool hype, but as an opportunity to redesign workflows, decisions and knowledge-sharing with human judgement still at the centre.
